BUK Issues Notice on Main Gate Closure for Repairs at Old Site Campus

The management of the Bayero University, Kano (BUK wishes to inform the university community that as part of the University's ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and enhance the aesthetic appeal of our campuses, the main gate of the Old Campus will undergo remodeling. Consequently, the main gate will be closed for use effective Thursday, 13th March, 2025.

To ease movement in and out of the campus, an alternative gate near the Power House has been designated for use by all members of the University community and visitors.

Staff, students and visitors, are to take note of this temporary arrangement and plan their movements accordingly. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to improve the university facilities.

The remodeling work is expected to be completed as soon as possible, and notices to that effect will be passed on to notify the community once the main gate is reopened.
