Lekki Headmaster: JAMB Approves New Reading Text and Novel for 2025 UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has approved a new official reading text and novel for the 2025 UTME. The board has confirmed that "Lekki Headmaster" by Kabir Alabi Garba will be the designed reading text and novel where questions would be taken from for the Use of English subject during the exams.

This means that approximately 15 questions in the upcoming UTME will be based on the novel and all UTME candidates, irrespective of their course or institution, are required to correctly answer questions from the novel.

All candidates are hereby advised to start making research on this novel, and keep an eye out, as we will soon write out a detailed summary on it.
