Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified prospective undergraduate students for the 2024 Merit Scholarship offered by Wigwe University in Rivers State.

The Wigwe University Merit Scholarship will not only alleviate the financial burden of higher education but also provide an opportunity to achieve academic goals in Africa’s leading institution of higher learning.

Eligibility

To be considered for the Wigwe University Merit Scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:

• Candidates must have chosen Wigwe University Isiokpo as their first choice and must score a minimum of 170 in the UTME.
• Candidates must ensure that their qualifying results are uploaded to JAMB.
• Candidates whose O’Level results are being awaited are advised to upload same to JAMB as soon as the results are released.
• Candidates who fail to upload their Results to JAMB will not be considered.
• Candidates who did not choose Wigwe University as first choice university but scored the required cut-off mark may also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB Website and effect a change of their institution of first choice to Wigwe University before the close of the Change of Institution application process on the JAMB Portal.
