BSU Announces Admission Into Newly Approved Programmes for 2024/2025 Session

The Benue State University, BSU, Makurdi has announced admission into newly approved programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session. Details are as follows;

This is to inform candidates and the general public that the National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved programmes in the aforementioned faculties at the Benue State University with effect from the 2024/2025 academic session.

Consequent upon the approval of the NUC, the University hereby requests who sat for the 2024 JAMB UTME with relevant subjects combination and aggregate score who are interested in enrolling in any of the new programmes to visit the nearest JAMB CBT office to effect change of institution to Benue State University (as first choice of institution) and choose their programme of choice. Candidates who choose Benue State University as first choice of institution with relevant requirements can also change their programme to any of the underlisted programmes;

Entry Requirements

Candidates are to possess 5 O'Level credits in Mathematics, English Language, Physics, and the two of Chemistry, Biology, Technical Drawing, Fine Arts, Geography, Economics at not more than two sittings

UTME subjects combination; Use of English, Mathematics, Physics, and anyone of Chemistry, Geography, Fine Arts or Technical Drawing

• B.Sc Advertising
• B.Sc Broadcasting
• B.Sc Development Communication Studies
• B.Sc Journalism and Media Studies
• B.Sc Public Relations
• B.Sc Strategic Communications 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Candidates are to possess minimum of 5 O'Level credits in English Language, Mathematics, Literature in English and any other two subjects at not more than two sittings 

UTME subjects combination; Use of English and any other Arts or Social Science subjects.

NOTE:

Interested candidates have up to Saturday, 21st September, 2024 to effect the change, preparatory for the 2024/2025 academic year's admission exercise that commences in the same month.
