Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for the Oyo State Bursary Award for Indigines of the state in Tertiary Institutions for 2024.

About the Oyo State Bursary Award

The Oyo State Bursary Award provides a cash prize of N100,000.00 to selected eligible students studying in tertiary institutions all over the country.

The bursary board has over the years done retrospectively and creditably well in giving financial assistance to students of Oyo State indigeneship in all public tertiary institutions. 

This bursary aims to assist indigent but brilliant Oyo State Students financially to alleviate their financial burdens in all tertiary institutions nationwide and abroad.

The body also seeks to encourage academic excellence and ensure that no child is left out of receiving sound education.

Oyo State Bursary Award Requirements:

To be considered for the Oyo State Bursary Award, you must satisfy the following requirements:

Final Year Undergraduate, HND and Clinical students excluding Final Year Law Students

Aviation and Maritime Students

The above listed student/applicant must be in Nigerian universities and tertiary institutions

Candidates from Private tertiary institutions, part time and overseas Students are NOT qualified to apply.

Required Documents for Oyo State Bursary Award

To apply for the Oyo State Bursary Award, candidates will be required to submit the following documents;

• Letter of Admission
• Local Government Identification
• Current Course registration Form endorsed by your Head of Department (H.O.D)
• Passport Photograph

How to Apply for Oyo State Bursary Award Scheme

• To commence your application, visit https://bursary.oyostate.gov.ng/2024/
• Click on the 'Apply for Bursary' button, you will be directed to the application form
• Provide all the information and documents required during the application process
• Upon supplying correctly all the required information, you click on the submit button to finalize your application after which you are required to print out and

Keep the application Submission Confirmation, which will contain important details such as application number which you would need later to check for the status of your application

As soon as applications have been reviewed and accessed, Recipients of the Bursary will be Announced and Status can be checked on this portal. After which recipients will then receive their awards to their provided details.
