NCC, FMCIDE Shortlists Students for Young Innovative Builders (YIB) Awards of Laptops and Tablets

The Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy (FMCIDE) in partnership with the National Communications Commission (NCC) has released the list of successful student innovators for the Young Innovative Builders (YIB) initiative. 

You would recall, applications was opened in November for the YIB scheme, where Students in Tertiary Institutions who have undergone the Industrial Training programmes where tasked to submit innovations they came up with during or after the programme. The YIB initiative recognises the important role of industrial training programmes in providing practical experience for the application of knowledge.

Earlier today, the list of shortlisted candidates was released. To check and to know your status, see details below;

How to Check Young Innovative Builders (YIB) Shortlisted Students for Laptops and Tablets

Successful students were sent an email indicating their status of award for either a Laptop or Tablet awards.

A sample of the email sent to successful candidates is as shown above.

Successful candidates will be contacted for verification of ownership of their project, students' status, and preferred shipping address on the 11th of January, 2023 before their devices will be given to them.
