2023 Census: NPC Releases New Revised Timetable for Training of Adhoc Staff, House Numbering and Persons Enumeration
This is to inform the general public, and most especially Adhoc staff of the National Population Commission (NPC) that, the commission has released an updated detailed breakdown of the workplan for the 2023 Population and Housing Census in Nigeria.
NEW:
BREAKING Disclaimer: Following the postponement of the training exercise of Ad-hoc Staff until further notice, the timetable may NOT be fully valid.
Reasons: The Commission has postponed the training exercise of Adhoc Staff that was supposed to commenced on 13th April, 2023 till further notice, but no more information was given on whether that postponement affects the dates of the main census exercise.
So for that reasons, those dates still remain valid till we get more clarification or announcements from the Commission on that regard.
Be rest assured this page will be updated immediately the newer version of the timetable becomes available.

This workplan or timetable gives a detailed breakdown of the training exercise, duration of the building numbering and household listing, interval breaks, Census Night and Person's Enumeration.
According to the new timetable, training of ad-hoc staff will be done phases, firstly adhoc staff will be trained between April 13th - 19th, 2023 - During this time Supervisors and Enumerators will be trained on Building Numbering and Hosuhold Listing, while the second phase of the training will be done on April 26th - 30th - During this time Supervisors and Enumerators will be trained on Person's Enumeration (the actual census) proper.

DeleteOn the time table it is said that the LGA level training on persons enumeration will start on the 26th to 30th . Is it referring to the enumerator and supervisor training?
ReplyDeleteHi, this is the last timetable release by the commission and it's currently not valid. We await new set of dates and timetable. Be rest assured that this post will be updated with the new timetable immediately it drops.
