2023 Census: NPC, NOA Hosts Bloggers, Social Media Influencers, Educates Them on Guidelines and Procedures of the Exercise

The National Population Commission (NPC) on Sunday, March 26th hosted a one-day interactive workshop for bloggers and social media influencers in partnership with the National Orientation Agency (NOA) to inform participants about the procodures and methods for the 2023 Census Guidelines.

Bloggers and social media influencers from every state in NIgeria as well as the Federal Capital Terrirtory attended the event.

The objective of the workshop are to:

1. Heighten awareness among the Nigerian blogers/social media influencers on the imporrtance of the 2023 Nigeria Census.
2. Sensitize Nigerian bloggers/social media activists on their mass mobilization role towards the success of the 2023 Nigeria Census.
3. Raise a formidable network of bloggers, online activists and influencers to champion youth and citizen mobilization for participation in the 2023 Nigeria Census.
4. Achieve a consistent and regular positive portrayal of the 2023 Nigeria Census in most online communication platforms.

The Commission is optimistic that the 2023 Population and Housing Census will produce an accurate, trustworthy, and acceptable count.

In order to provide our beloved nation with accurate and trustworthy data for the upcoming 2023 Population and Housing Census, NPC is making an appeal to Nigerians.
