2022 Admission Cut-off Marks For All Tertiary Institutions To Be Announced July 21st At JAMB Policy Meeting
The cut-off marks to be used by all tertiary institutions in Nigeria for admission in 2022 would be announced on July 21st at the JAMB admission policy meeting.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in conjunction with heads of tertiary institutions, will hold the 2022 policy meeting to determine minimum cut-off marks and other issues for admissions into the 2022/2023 academic session.
This meeting will be chaired by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu.
Apart from the announcement of the minimum admission cut-off, the meeting will chart policy directions for the nation’s tertiary institutions, set admission guidelines, and make a holistic review of application statistics, performance, decide concessional and acceptable minimum admissions standards to be applied in all admissions to be undertaken by all tertiary institutions in Nigeria as well as evaluate the 2022 admission exercise.
Last year, the idea of a general cut-off mark was scrapped and institutions were allowed to decide their own minimum cut–off marks. We'll see if there will be any notable difference this year.
As usual. we will bring you all updates from the meeting on that day.
