ASUU Strike: Minister of Education Walks Out on Protesting Students As Meeting Ends in Deadlock

The Minister of Education, Mal. Adamu Adamu walked out on a meeting with students protesting the industrial action of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

Nigerian students, under the umbrella of the National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) took to the streets today to lay out their grievances over ASUU Strike nationwide.

In the same vein, students in and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) took their grievances to the gates of the National Assembly and later to the Ministry of Education where they meet with the Minister of Education.
Reports has it that the meeting ended in deadlock as no after the Minister walked out on the students.
Similarly, students in Minna, Plateau, Taraba, Akwa Ibom, Zamfara, Osun and other parts of the country had peaceful protests while chanting their demands.
