Nasarawa State Govt. Announces Resumption Date for Tertiary Institutions
Nasarawa State Government has announced the reopening date for all tertiary institutions in the state. See the full details below.
The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A Sule has approved the re-opening of all Tertiary institutions in the state (including both State-owned and private) with effect from Monday, 26th October 2020.
In this regard, the Ministry of Education Science and Technology wishes to stress that the authorities of the institutions should ensure maximum compliance with COVID-19 safety protocols within their respective campuses. Accordingly, all returning Students are to undergo temperature checks and other protocols before being allowed into the school compound.
For the avoidance of doubt, officials from the Ministry of Education Science and Technology will embark on monitoring visits to ensure adherence by the institutions.
In light of this development, institutions are hereby advised to commence academic activities without delay in view of lost time, please.
