Mountain Top University Resumption and Academic Calendar for 2019/2020 Session
Mountain Top University Resumption and Academic Calendar has been announced for the 2019/2020 session.
This is to inform students and parents/guardians that the University Senate has approved the reopening of normal academic activities from Monday, 5th October, 2020.
This decision of the University Senate is in compliance with the announcement of the Ogun State Government that Tertiary Institutions in the state can reopen from Monday, 14th September, 2020.
The breakdown of the academic calendar is as follows;

Consequently, the University has decided on gradual reopening which will be implemented in phases.
The calendar for Phase 1 is as indicated below:
Phase 1 (300 & 400 Level)
Resumption -Friday, 2nd– Sunday, 4th October, 2020
Revision Classes/Test 3 -Monday, 5th – Saturday, 17th October, 2020
Second Semester Examinations -Monday, 19th – Friday, 23rd October, 2020
End of Semester for 300 level students -Saturday, 24th October, 2020
(300 level students will vacate the Campus not later than Sunday 25th October, 2020, while
400 level students will stay to continue with their projects)
Note: 300 level students undergoing Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) are not expected to resume on Monday, 5th October, 2020.
Tuition Fees
Parents/Guardians are to please note that no debtor will be allowed into the University Campus.
Covid-19 Guidelines
Students are to observe strict compliance with all COVID-19 guidelines and protocols namely: wearing of face masks, regular handwashing with soap, use of hand sanitizers, and maintenance of physical distancing.
Conditions for Accessing the University Campus
Students must come with:
- Sufficient quantities of face masks for their use in the Campus throughout their stay; and
- Personal hand sanitizers.
Information on the resumption dates of other levels of students would be released in due course.
Parents/Guardians are to note this development.
