Igbinedion University VC's Good Will Message to Parents and Students Ahead of Resumption

In the wake of the global COVID-19 Pandemic sometime in February 2020, a nationwide lockdown that affected institutions and schools including Igbinedion University, Okada (IUO) was ordered by the Federal Government in March 2020.

Remarkably, the lockdown afforded the University the opportunity to look inwards and produce some of the pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical personal protective equipment required to ensure the safety of staff and students upon resumption.

You may recall that in my last message to you sometime in May 2020, I reiterated the Management’s commitment to the continued wellbeing and welfare of its students and their academic progress. I had also urged you then to encourage and support your wards to concentrate on their e-learning while looking forward to having the students back on campus.

I congratulate the parents and students for their patience and resilience during the period of the lockdown and I look forward to having the students back on campus soon.
