Gombe State Govt Gives Hint on Schools Resumption in the State

The Gombe State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Habu Dahiru has announced the government’s plan to resume academic activities in the state.

The Education Commissioner hinted on October 4, 2020, as the resumption date for boarding schools while day primary and secondary schools in the state will resume on October 5, 2020. He stated that the third term of the 2019/2020 academic session will be rounded up in three weeks.

Dr. Dahiru further revealed that the first term for the next session will run for an eight weeks period starting from October 25, 2020, and ending on December 18, 2020, the second term will run for 14 weeks, resuming on January 10, 2021, and ending April 16, 2021, whereas the third term will begin May 2, 2021, to August 6, 2021, for a fourteen weeks duration.
