NYSC: 24 Corps Members Gets Service Extension as Punishment

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has extended the service duration for twenty-four (24) corps members in Lagos State after they violated some rules of the scheme. See details below.
As the 2019/2020 NYSC passing out ceremony draws near, 24 corps members of Batch B Stream 1 serving in Lagos state have been served with NYSC extension as disciplinary measures for flouting NYSC rules and regulations.
Although their offenses were not disclosed, the corps members are expected to report to NYSC State Secretariat, Surulere on Wednesday, 27th May, 2020 between 10:00 am to 11:30 to collect their letters of disciplinary actions. 18 other corps members have also been listed as having “pending disciplinary issues.
The corps members were schedule to pass out from Thursday, May 28 2020, but their service year has been extended between two weeks to four months.
Collection of certificates will last for ten days due to the Covid-19 pandemic
