Nigerian Army Short Service Recruitment | SSC

The Nigerian Army, has announced the commencement of the 2024 recruitment process into its Direct Short Service schemes.

Applications are invited from eligible Nigerians for commission into the Nigerian Army (NA) as Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) officers. The DSSC is open to both civilians and serving military personnel.  

Eligibility Requirements:

Candidates; 

- must be between 23 and 27 years

- must have Degree (at least 2:2) or HND (at least lower credit)

- must have completed NYSC

- must be physically and mentally fit according to Army standards

- must have 2 recommendation letters from reputable persons

- must have an attestation letter from your former institution 

- height of 1.68m (male) and 1.65(female)

- must not have tattoos 

- must have secondary school certificate obtained after 2014

- candidates must not be a member of any cult group or secret societies.
