BUK Lectures Commencement Date For Undergraduate And Postgraduate Students Announced For 2018/2019 Session
This is to inform all students of Bayero University Kano (BUK) that First semester lectures for the undergraduate students will commence from Monday, 18th March, 2019 and end on Saturday, 15th June, 2019 as approved by the University Senate at its 369th meeting held on Wednesday, 27th February, 2019.

The Mid-semester break has been approved to commence from Monday, 29th April to Sunday, 5th May, 2019, while first semester examinations will start from Monday, 17th June to Saturday, 6th July, 2019.
According to the time-table, there will be a two-week break from Monday, 8th to Sunday, 21st July, 2019, after which the second semester lectures will commence from Monday, 22nd July, to Saturday, 19th October, 2019.
The Mid-semester break is scheduled for Monday, 2nd to Sunday, 8th September, 2019, after which the second semester examinations will hold between Monday, 21st October and Saturday, 9th November, 2019.
Similarly, lectures for postgraduate students for the 2018/2019 session have been scheduled to commence on Monday, 1st April, 2019 up to Saturday, 29th June, 2019.
The Mid-semester break has been scheduled for Monday, 29th April to Sunday, 5th May, 2019, after which the first semester examinations will hold from Monday, 1st to Saturday, 13th July, 2019.
The second semester lectures will commence from Monday, 22nd July to Saturday, 19th October, 2019 after which the mid-semester break takes place from Monday, 2nd to Sunday, 8th September, 2019.
The second semester examinations for postgraduate students will commence from Monday, 21st October, Saturday, 2nd November, 2019.

The second semester lectures will commence from Monday, 22nd July to Saturday, 19th October, 2019 after which the mid-semester break takes place from Monday, 2nd to Sunday, 8th September, 2019.
The second semester examinations for postgraduate students will commence from Monday, 21st October, Saturday, 2nd November, 2019.
