BSU Revised Academic Calendar For Continuation Of 2017/2018 Session

The Senate of Benue State University (BSU) at its Emergency meeting held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the Senate Chambers has ordered the University to re-open for the Continuation of academic activities.

The Senate considered and approved the proposed Revised Academic Calendar for the Second Semester, 2017/2018 Academic Session for regular students presented by the Director, Academic Planning and Quality Assurance, Prof. Simon Terver Ubwa, as attached below.

Students are therefore encouraged to resume for the continuation of their studies which was truncated as result of the strike.

1. Friday, 8th February, 2019 - Academic Staff resume from 13 weeks National Strike, Academic actives resume

2. Monday, 11th February, 2019 - Friday, 15th February, 2019 -  Online registration for all categories of Students [1 Weeks]

3. Monday 11th February, 2019 – Friday, 15th February, 2019 - Release of Lecture Timetable and Course allocation [1 Week]

4. Monday, 18th February, 2019 - Friday 10th May, 2019 - Lectures [12 weeks]

5. Monday, 18th February, 2019 - Saturday, 23rd February, 2019 - Late Registration/Lectures [1 Week]

6. Friday, 8th March, 2019 - Add/Drop of elective(s) End of Add/Drop of Elective(s)

7. Monday, 8th April, 2019 - Saturday, 13th April, 2019 - First Continuous Assessment/Lectures [1 Week]
