Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the IJMB Programme under the Non-NUC Funded Programmes (NNUCFP) of the University of Jos (UNIJOS) for Arts and Social Sciences disciplines.

Requirements:

Interested candidates for the Sciences must possess five (5) ‘O’ Level Credits in WAEC or NECO or its equivalent in the following Subjects; Mathematics, English Language, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. Those interested in Social Sciences and Arts must obtain five (5) ‘O’ level Credits in subjects such as English language, Government, Economics, Geography, CRS, IRS, Arabic, English Literature, History, Marketing, Civic Education etc.

This Programme will be beneficial to candidates who scored below the authorized cut off points for entry into Nigerian Universities.

Mode of Application:

Application forms are available online on https://portal.unijos.edu.ng/ from 1st – 31st March, 2025.

The cost of the form is N15,000 (fifteen thousand naira only) and can be obtained by logging on the University’s website and following these steps;

  • Visit the University of Jos website via https://portal.unijos.edu.ng/
  • Point at ‘Programme’ menu and click ‘IJMB’
  • Fill out the ‘Register an account’ form. Please ensure you use a valid personal email and an easy-to-remember password.
  • Select ‘Programme of choice’ (IJMB Science, Arts, Social Sciences) and click on ‘Register’.
  • An activation link will be sent to the valid email you provided. Login to the email and click the link to activate your account on the students’ portal, and proceed to the PAYMENT PORTAL.
