AAUA Resumption Date & 2nd Semester Academic Calendar Announced - 2016/2017

Adekunle Ajasin University (AAUA) resumption date

This is to inform all students of Adekunle Ajasin University (AAUA) that according to the approved Academic Calendar for the 2016/2017 Academic Session, the First Semester Examination would end on Saturday, 22nd July, 2017 while the Second Semester of the 2016/2017 session is to commence on Sunday, 30th July, 2017.

In view of the above, students are strongly advised to resume on Sunday, 30th July, 2017 as Registration and Lectures would commence immediately.

On behalf of the Vice Chancellor and the University Management, have a joyful mid-session break.

The details for the 2nd semester academic calendar are as follows:

July 30th - August 5th:
i. Resumption and Registration
ii. Faculty based course exposition

August 6th - 12th:
i. Lecture Begin,VC test

August 13th - 19th:
i. Lecture Continues

August 20th - 26th:
i. 1st continuous assessment test
ii. Lecture continues

August 27- September 2nd:
i. Deadline for additions and deduction of course
ii. End of registration and closure of e-portal
iii. Senate examination
iv. Lecture continues

September 17th – 23rd:
i. 2nd continuous assessment test
ii. Lecture continues

October 22nd – 28th:
i. 3rd continuous assessment test
ii. End of lectures

October 29th - November 4th:
i. Revision

November 5th – 25th:
i. 2nd semester examination and vacation
