40 American University Scholarships in UAE

The new American University in the Emirates is inviting applications for Scholarships for the 2017-2018 academic year. Up to 40 scholarships are available to applicants of all nationalities but priority will be given to applicants from the United Arab Emirates.

American University in the Emirates seeks to develop students of faith, intellect, and character who have the skills and the desire to continue learning and to serve others throughout their lives.

Course Level: Scholarships are available to pursue Bachelors, Master and English Language programme.

Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded to learn any of the courses offered by the university.

Scholarship Award: The scholarship is applicable to tuition fees only (courses) and not for any other fees. The Scholarship will not include/cover any courses to be taken outside American University in the Emirates (AUE) (Inside and outside UAE)

Number of Scholarships: Up to 40 scholarships are available.

Scholarship can be taken in UAE

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:

·         For Undergraduate Programme: High School Diploma attested by the concerned authorities with the minimum final average of above 90% (or its equivalent).

·         For Graduate programme: Bachelor Degree Certificate from an accredited university by the UAE Ministry of Education, with minimum CGPA of 3.6 out of 4.0, or its equivalent.

Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to apply for these scholarships. Priority will be given to applicants from the United Arab Emirates.

Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have their previous degree.

English Language Requirements: For Undergraduate Applicants:

English Proficiency Certificate with the below score:

·         TOFL PBT: 527

·         TOEFL IBT: 70

·         EmSAT English 1250

For Graduate Applicants:

English Proficiency Certificate with the below score:

·         ILETS: 6.5

·         TOFL PBT: 577

·         TOEFL IBT: 90

·         EmSAT English 1550

For Undergraduate Applicants:

·         Recommendation letter from school (Not older than 3 months)

·         English Proficiency Certificate with the below score:

1.      

·         ILETS: 5.5

·         TOFL PBT: 527

·         TOEFL IBT: 70

·         EmSAT English 1250

·         Motivation letter that clearly states the intended College/ Program/ Major.

·         Certificate of good conduct from both previous school and police.

·         Four passport size photographs

For Graduate Applicants:

·         Recommendation letter from two faculty members at the previous university.

·         English Proficiency Certificate with the below score:

·         ILETS: 6.5

·         TOFL PBT: 577

·         TOEFL IBT: 90

·         EmSAT English 1550

·         Motivation letter that clearly states the intended College/ Program/ Major.

·         Certificate of good conduct from police.

·         Four passport size photographs
