KASU Academic Calendar For 2016/2017 Released

This is to inform the general public that the management of Kaduna State University (KASU) has released the academic calendar for 2016/2017 academic session.

The breakdown of academic activities is as contained on the table below;

FIRST SEMESTER

28th November — 9th December, 2016: Registration of all Fresh and Returning Students

12th December, 2016 — 27th January, 2017: Lectures for All Students

30th January — 5th February, 2017: Mid —Semester. Break

6th February - 24th March, 2017: Lecture for All Students
 

17th February-24th February, 2017: Release of Continuous Assessment Results

3rd April — 21st April, 2017: Examinations and Marking

24th April — 28th April, 2017: Compilation of Results by Departments

1st May —5th May, 2017: Consideration of Results by Faculty, PG and CBS Boards

11th May, 2017: Consideration of Results by Senate

12 May, 2017: Release of Results

24th April —19th May, 2017: First Semester Break


SECOND SEMESTER
22nd May-7th July, 2017: Lectures for all students

10th July - 14th July, 2017: Mid-Semester Break

17th July – 1st September, 2017 : Lectures for All Students

28th August – 1st September, 2017: Release Of Continuous Assessment Results

4th September - 22nd September, 2017: Examination and Marking

25th September - 29th September, 2017: Compilation of Results By Departments

2nd October - 6th October, 2017: Consideration of Results by Faculty, PG and CBS Boards

12th October, 2017: Consideration of results By Senate

13th October, 2017: Releases of Results

25th September-17th November, 2017: End of Session Break

20th, November, 2017: New Session Begins (2017/2018)
